“Jumpstart the LSAT” offers a valuable opportunity for college juniors, seniors, and postgraduates to gain hands-on experience and guidance to excel in their LSAT preparation, a crucial step in their path to law school admission.


WHO: College Juniors, Seniors, and Post Grads who are planning on taking or retaking the LSAT are invited to attend this intensive LSAT workshop which includes taking a graded LSAT test. ($20 registration fee covers the full cost of the workshop)

WORKSHOP AGENDA
Practice LSAT Examination
Students will be administered a practice exam (excluding essays) and an overview of how the LSAT is scored. This session will be facilitated by test preparatory LSAT Instructors.
Lunch/Break – Networking
Overview of the LSAT and “Mini” Strategy Session
Facilitated by test preparatory LSAT Instructors, this session will explore strategies for attacking questions on the LSAT and how the exam taker can most effectively manage time in preparation for the exam.
How to Select a Law School: Strategies and Competition
This session will convey information to students about what the LSAT measures, how LSAT scores factor into admission decisions, and how prospective applicants can use various tools to help select law schools to which to apply. LSAT Instructors will facilitate this session.
Mock Admissions Committee
Students will view summaries of actual law school applications, discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each and learn how admissions professionals view the applications. The session will help students appreciate the competitive nature of law school admissions and will be facilitated by deans and/or admissions office staff.
