Judge Sheila Abdus-Salaam

CLEO 1974

“My CLEO fellowship was immensely helpful during my first year of law school. It gave me the leg up academically and financially that launched a very successful legal career that has culminated in my being the first black woman to serve on New York State’s highest court, the Court of Appeals. Thank you CLEO!”
