
A Series of Monthly Pre-Law Learning & Networking Sessions. Hosted by Goulston & Storrs to help pre-law students increase their law school preparation skills and help build a lasting support system with peers and professionals. Pre-law students engage in lively, in person discussion with peers, law school faculty, and attorneys, find answers to important questions about law school, create a local network of colleagues and legal professional guides, increase their understanding of the culture of legal practice, and enhance their social perspective on the admissions process and law school success. Join us for one or all workshops, in-person, in Washington, DC.

Who Is Eligible for CLEO CONNECTION?
College students and post-graduates who plan to apply to law school.
Students can attend one, all, or as many of the monthly sessions as they would like (see the monthly list below).

October – “Mock Law Class” –Get a taste of what a “day in the life” of a law student is like. CLEO Connection’s Mock Law Class is a simulated law school class for pre-law students who are interested in experiencing what an actual law school class and curriculum is like and how it differs from an undergraduate learning experience.
An actual law school professor leads the CLEO Connection Mock Law Class. You will learn about the different types of law classes that are offered, the grading system, the expectations of law professors, and much more.
November – “Financial Awareness” – Attending this session makes a whole lot of “cents!” (And will potentially save you some dollars as well…) Get tips from a financial aid expert regarding getting your “financial house” in order before embarking upon the law school journey.
December – “Law School Admissions Panel” – Attendees will hear from actual law school deans of admission about the rigorous selection process, components of a “top-notch” application, how to choose the school that’s right for you and more!
January – “LSAT Strategies” – Newsflash: “With proper preparation, you too, can do well on the LSAT!” Come receive instruction from an industry expert who will be on hand to provide you with winning strategies and techniques.
February – “Law Student Panel” – Come get the “inside scoop” on what law school is really like and, more importantly, what it takes to be successful from those who are currently “walking the walk:” actual law students
March – “Attorney Panel” – There’s no better way to learn about what it takes to succeed as a lawyer than to hear it directly from the mouths of practicing attorneys. If you’re interested in interacting with experienced practitioners in various sectors, then, attend this session!
